LARGE SURGEON LEVER VINTAGE MIXER TAP belfast sink faucet antique brass

Unusually substantial genuine vintage set of brass mixer taps, lever operated. Deck mounted with 3/4 BSP feed pipes. Largest example we've ever seen! Approximately 8" between feed pipe centres and 7.5" of spout reach. Gently buffed to yield a gleaming finish.

All our taps have had the following work completed. Old finish chemically removed by licensed and environmentally responsible local firm. Tap seats re-machined to obviate the risk of slow drips, as is common on old taps. New compressed fibre washers cut to size by hand using imperial wad punches on a fly press.

Spindles lathe turned to meet specific tolerances. Gland nut packing repacked in the traditional method using graphite string. This stops water leaking from below the handles. Polished, again by hand, using a polishing lathe. See our other listings for more stunning English taps.
